Event Facility - The Bujinkan Tasmania Dojo & Japanese Culture Centre

The Bujinkan Tasmania Dojo is hosting the 2026 Nagato Sensei Tai Kai. It is located at 159 Macquarie Street, Hobart, Tasmania 7000. It is on the 1st floor of the rear building behind Legacy House. Access is via external stairs.

Registration Area

The Registration area is located on the ground floor of the Dojo. Please follow the signs.

You must register each day before being allowed to access the Dojo on the 1st floor.

Dojo Change rooms

Change rooms for Men and Women are located on the ground floor of the Dojo.

You are asked to change into your training uniform and leave your bags in the change rooms.

There will be security staff in this area for the duration of the seminar.

What can I bring into the Dojo?

After you have changed downstairs, please put your shoes back on to go outside and upstairs to the Dojo. After entry, please remove your shoes and place them neatly in a shoe cubby.

Water – please bring water or your chosen hydration drink with you into the Dojo. There will be two areas for you to leave your drink.

Lunch Room

Lunch is provided on all three days as a part of the Taikai fee. The lunch room is on the ground floor below the Dojo. Food may be eaten outside but not in the Dojo. Please dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided.
